Aditya Sharma is a Senior Consultant with Centric India<\/a> and works in our Data & Analytics<\/a> practice. Before Centric, he worked at Accenture for more than six years. Aditya has a Bachelor\u2019s degree in computers with industry applications, majorly in the hospitality and insurance<\/a> domain. He lives in Gurugram, is an avid reader of non-fiction, and an impromptu traveler.<\/p>\n I always wanted to be a fighter pilot since childhood (almost knocked on the right doors), but destiny had other plans for me. I must say, I have enjoyed anything and everything life had to offer, to the fullest.<\/strong> In early 2010, I decided software engineering would be my destination and since then never looked back. And now, in the last 10 years, the one thing that I firmly believe is, whatever happens, the show must go on!<\/p>\n Well, it is difficult to put into words, but I\u2019ll give it a go anyway. I believe I continue to receive my best feedback from the many friends I have made over the last decade, no matter where I work. They love working with me, and this is quite evident in both my personal and professional life.<\/p>\n To be honest, it was by sheer coincidence I landed here. But, in the past few years, what really stunned me was that my field is driving the world, making me a firm believer of the phrase \u201cdata is the new oil.\u201d<\/strong> I take pride in what the data industry is set to achieve.<\/p>\n First, by understanding their requirement to the core, so I know that I am not selling a sword where a simple safety pin could do the trick. And, by being honest about the services and consulting I am offering, so we both are on the same page.<\/p>\n We are in a fast-paced world, and everybody wants to grow as fast as they can. In this cutthroat competition, companies need help in keeping a balance between the numbers and the overall happiness index of their organization.<\/strong><\/p>\n Again, maintaining the right balance and attaining a great place to work with almost perfect work-life balance — always doing a retrospective analysis on how we are doing in both areas.<\/p>\n We are about to overcome a pandemic, and what I am really looking forward to is how we bounce back from this — helping clients and employees make things business as usual.<\/p>\n Somewhere in Eastern Europe, visiting all the World War II memorials.
