The pandemic has waned, but supply chain stress continues due to ongoing demand fluctuation, material scarcity, labor shortages, freight delays, natural disasters and more.<\/p>\n With less predictable demand and less reliable supply, many businesses have struggled to achieve their goals. It\u2019s clear the traditional \u201cplan-source-make-deliver\u201d supply chain model is no longer sustainable. In 2022, the Association for Supply Chain Management retooled its Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR)<\/a> model to support new supply chain realities better. The now-infinite SCOR loop reflects the multidirectional movement of goods and services in an increasingly circular economy.<\/p>\n
